Sequence of Steps in the Final Thesis/Project Phase (Phase III)
You will find a lot of valuable information on the Thesis/Project Information page of the CSUDH Office of Graduate Studies. Not all of the information on this page applies to HUX students. But near the bottom of the page you will find links to the CSUDH Thesis and Project Guide in Adobe PDF and Word versions. HUX students must follow this guide closely in preparing their capstone thesis or project.
Complete following steps in the following order in order to assure timely progress to completion of your Final Thesis or Project.

*Any
thesis/project work that will involve the use of human subjects
(for interviews, surveys, modeling, etc.) must be cleared by
the Research and Funded Projects Office (also called the Institutional
Review Board or IRB) prior to beginning work. Instructions may be found on the CSUDH website.
**Early
or timely submission of thesis material to the HUX Office and/or
the student's mentor does not guarantee this material will be
accepted and approved during the trimester of submission.
***If
the student's first or second submission to Graduate Studies
is rejected for failure to follow the required format, the student
will be required to carry forward to the following trimester
and resubmit his or her thesis/project at that time. The student
will be required to maintain Continuous Attendance via HUX 600
for Fall and Spring trimesters (Summer trimester is exempted)
and file a change of Graduation Date form/fee to move his or
her graduation date.
